Create a bot with @BotFather, paste its token into Douchat and talk to your agent from Telegram anywhere. The conversation is shared with the desktop app.
Your bot, your agent
Each Telegram bot is bound to one of your contacts. Message it privately with text, images or files, and get Markdown-formatted replies and generated images back.
How it runs
Douchat receives messages with Telegram long polling from your computer, so there is no webhook to host. If the bot already has a webhook in another service, remove it first.

Create a bot
Talk to @BotFather in Telegram and copy the bot token.

Add the token
Open a contact's profile, choose … → Configure message channels, pick Telegram and paste the token.

Pair
Open a private chat with the bot and send the pairing command shown in Douchat.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my bot token stored?
On your computer, encrypted with your system keychain. It is never sent to the Douchat app window or synced to the cloud.
Can I add the bot to a Telegram group?
Not yet. Channels currently support private chats only.
