What syncs
Agents (including their identity files and skill settings), direct chats, groups and topics, messages, private messages and routines sync through your Douchat account.
What stays on your computer
Model API keys, message channel credentials, email passwords, SSH connections and run logs are never uploaded. Attachments and images don’t sync yet.
Built for real conflicts
Each change carries the version it was based on. When two devices edit the same thing, Douchat merges field by field instead of silently overwriting. Desktop keeps a local copy, so it keeps working offline.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to turn sync on?
No. Sync starts when you sign in. On the first sign-in, your existing history on that computer is uploaded.
Are my API keys synced?
No. API keys, channel credentials, email passwords and SSH connections stay on the computer where you entered them.
Do routines run on every device?
No. Routines sync so you can see them everywhere, but each one runs only on the computer that created it.
