Email + Douchat: agents that can search your inbox
Add a mailbox and pick which agents may use it. They can search your email and read individual messages to answer your questions.
Search and read, nothing more
Agents get two tools: one to search the mailbox and one to read a message it found. Attachments are described but not downloaded, and the connector does not send email.
Access you decide
Only the agents you select can use an account, and reading mail follows the agent's permission settings. The password is encrypted with your system keychain on your computer.

Connect a mailbox

Open Connectors
Open Settings → Connectors in the Douchat desktop app and add an email account.

Choose a preset
Use the Feishu Mail preset or enter your own IMAP and SMTP servers, then your username and password.

Pick agents
Select which agents can use this mailbox, save, and ask one of them about your email.
Frequently asked questions
Is my email password synced to the cloud?
No. Email passwords stay on your computer, encrypted, and are never part of cloud sync.
Can an agent send email for me?
Not today. The email connector provides search and read tools only.
